Synopsis: Set on a German-occupied Greek island during World War II. An English professor and two Americans are prisoners of war working on an archaelogical excavation under the supervision of commandant Major Hecht. When two German officers are killed after a visit to the town brothel, SS Major Volkman suspects the place to be a Resistance base.
